Nigeria: FG Pledges to Halt Medical Tourism, Pleads With Unions

Abuja — The federal government has pledged that it is more committed to ensuring that the spending of billions of dollars by Nigerians on medical tourism abroad is halted.

Supervising Minister of Health, Khaliru Alhassan on Monday disclosed that government will take this seriously, adding that medical tourism is one of his top priorities as he assured that he will fight it to a standstill in Nigeria.
