Nigeria: FG Vows to Stop Medical Tourism, Pleads With Unions Against Strike

Abuja — The federal government has pledged its commitment to ensuring that the spending of billions of dollars by Nigerians on medical tourism abroad is stopped.

The Supervising Minister of Health, Khaliru Alhassan, on Monday disclosed that government would take this seriously, adding that ending medical tourism is one of his top priorities, as he also assured Nigerians that he would fight it to a standstill.
