EGYPT welcomed an agreement by the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) in Arusha recently, commending President Jakaya Kikwete for the job well done to reconcile the rival parties.
The Egyptian Embassy said in a statement in Dar es Salaam that the Arab republic fully appreciated the pioneering role played by Tanzania in bringing the Sudanese brothers to the negotiating table towards a comprehensive reconciliation process within the SPLM.
