Sudan: Three Dead As Govt. Forces, Border Guards Clash in Zalingei, Central Darfur

Zalingei — Three people were killed and six wounded in clashes between government forces and the paramilitary Border Guards in Zalingei, capital of Central Darfur on Monday and Tuesday.

Speaking to Radio Dabanga, multiple sources said that a group of Border Guards in a Land Cruiser mounted with a Dushka machine-gun abducted a Salamat tribal leader at the Hamidiya bus station in the eastern part of Zalingei on Monday.
