Nigeria: Fake Soldier Remanded in Prison Over Impersonation

An Oshodi Magistrates' Court in Lagos on Wednesday remanded a fake army officer, Mark Damijida, at the Kirikiri Prisons, Apapa, over alleged impersonation.

The Magistrate, Mr Akeem Fashola, remanded Damijida, 27, after he admitted that he was a fake army officer and he also gave the police false information in order to obtain money.
