Malawi: British Government Criticized Over Visa Regime for Malawi Visitors to UK

Members of Parliament and the House of Lords in the United Kingdom (UK) have faulted the British government for discriminating against travellers from Malawi calling the visa application process as tedious.

Labor parliamentarian for Rutherglen and Hamilton West, Tom Greatrex, led the debate on the issue in the Commons, blamed the UK's Coalition Government for setting rules that are "pathetic for people from Malawi who travel to the UK".
