Namibia: Bank Windhoek and Ministry of Finance Sign Point of Sale Agreement

Windhoek — Bank Windhoek and the Ministry of Finance have entered into an agreement in which Bank Windhoek will provide Point of Sale (POS) devices to the ministry to be used at all Namibian Borders Posts, Inland Revenue cash offices, Magistrate offices and Post offices appointed as collection agents for the ministry. The agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Bank Windhoek was signed yesterday (Wednesday) in Windhoek.

The Bank Windhoek POS devices will make payment easier and convenient for the Ministry's clients to pay for duty and tax fees as well as other payments. Bank Windhoek's POS devices accept all Visa and MasterCard branded cards whether local or international, including the Nam-mic CellCard.
