Four major issues - economy, peace and security, culture, and trade - dominated discussions during a debate on a Report on the Joint Africa-Europe Strategy Meeting on the fourth day of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) Fifth Ordinary Session of the Third Parliament taking place in Midrand, Johannesburg.

Following the presentation of a report which resulted from a meeting held by the PAP and the European Parliament in April, MPs raised their views on some of the matters contained therein.
