Nigeria: £80 Million Ibori Assets Frozen in UK

London — Cash and assets worth more than £80 million corruptly acquired by former Delta State governor, Mr James Ibori, have been frozen by authorities in the United Kingdom.

Mr Rupert Broad, a senior investigator at the Specialist Organised and Economic Crime Command of the Metropolitan Police who disclosed this in London on Monday, said the money and assets were being restrained, pending Mr Ibori's assets hearing scheduled for March next year.
