Zimbabwe: Striking Doctors Appeal to Mugabe As Hospitals Fail to Cope

STRIKING junior doctors who downed tools two weeks ago have appealed to President Robert Mugabe to intervene and break the deadlock as senior doctors announced they were also joining the job action.

The move by the senior doctors, who have found themselves overwhelmed with work due the strike by their juniors, will further cripple the country's struggling health delivery system.
