Algeria, Spain Agree to Strengthen Cooperation in Transport Sector

Algiers — Algeria and Spain agreed to strengthen bilateral relations in the field of transport, in particular by reinforcing the air and shipping lines between the two countries, said a statement from the Ministry of Transport.

The meeting, which was attended by Transport Minister Amar Ghoul and Spanish Minister of Public Works, Ana Pastor, currently on a visit to Algiers, focused on opportunities to increase the number of flights between Algeria and Spain, from 35 flights/week currently to 50 flights/week, through Air Algérie and Tassili Airlines.
