Liberia: Barrobo Supt. Urges Youth to Quit Gold Mines, Go to School

The Superintendent of Barrobo Statutory District in Maryland County, George Geffie wants the youth of the county especially Pleebo, Karluway and Barrobo Districts to be serious with their education and stop rushing for money at the gold mines.

Superintendent Geffie said "it is disheartening nowadays to see the youth abandoning school to work on gold mines all over the county for the sake of money."
