Rwanda: Airtel Home Winner Says Will Rent It to Repay Mortgage

Noeline Mbabazi acquired a mortgage loan to build a family home, which she has been servicing for the past few years. This meant that she had to forego some things to service the mortgage. Mbabazi will now be able to afford some of these items after she won the first Airtel's 'Ni ikirenga' promotion house worth Rwf20 million on Thursday.

"I will rent out the house to raise money to pay back the bank loan and cater for the family's needs. This will also improve my life as I will no longer have to use part of my salary to service the loan," said Mbabazi after receiving the three-bedroom house located in Kinyinya sector in Gasabo District.
