Angola: Ministry Records Increase in Issuing of Environmental Impact Certificates

Luanda — The National Department of Environmental Impact Assessment of the Environment Ministry issued until the third quarter of this year 118 licenses of operation and installation, in the ambit of the prevention and mitigation of damages to the environment.

Speaking to ANGOP, the national director for Prevention and Environmental Assessment, Sandra Nascimento, said that the number of permits issued has increased considerably, since in 2013 about 80 permits were issued.
