Gambia: Activista Holds First Regional Congress in Banjul

Activista the Gambia held its first regional congress for Banjul at the Banjul City Council (BCC) on Saturday, 8th November 2014.

The board and management of Activista in consultation with Activista International and Action Aid The Gambia, recently restructured the movement to be able to achieve their goals as outlined in the Constitution of Activitsa, the Gambia. The main aim of Activista, according to the organizers, is to promote growth and development of social consciousness and dialogue to effectively combat hunger, poverty and other social injustice in the Gambia.
