Dodoma — A STUDY conducted by FinScope Institution has shown a significant increase in use of mobile phones to send and receive money, the government noted.
Deputy Minister for Finance Mr Mwigulu Nchemba said the study conducted by FinScope Institute shows that in the year 2013, money transaction using mobile phones in Tanzania Mainland was 43.5 per cent compared to 6.7 per cent in 2009, an increase of 37 per cent.
