Kenya: How CID Helped UK to Probe 'Chicken'

THE Kenya Government helped the UK to investigate Kenyan officials linked to the 'Chicken' gang. 'Chicken' was the code name for the bribes said to have been offered by British printing firm Smith & Ouzman to top officials of the IEBC and Kenya National Examinations Council.

The CID supported the investigations by providing crucial details that helped Serious Fraud Office officers in the UK to prosecute the top bosses of the London-based printing firm.
