Somalia's federal state of Puntland is intensifying its anti-terrorism operations in response to reports of an imminent threat of terror attacks by al-Shabaab militants, a top intelligence official told reporters in Garowe Thursday (November 20th).
"We have so far gathered intelligence reports unveiling that al-Shabaab is planning to carry out attacks in Puntland," Puntland Intelligence Agency Director Abdi Hassan Hussein said according to Garowe Online.
