The umbrella body for northern Muslims, Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has asked the federal government to demonstrate genuine commitment to the fight against the Boko Haram terrorist group.
The religious body headed by the Sultan of Sokoto, in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna, condemned the spate of killings in the north east, declaring that the federal government must wake up to its fundamental and obligatory responsibility of protecting lives and property of Nigerians.
