Tanzania: Stop It, Red Cross Orders Emblem 'Hackers'

Arusha — THE Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS) has ordered all hospitals, dispensaries and drug stores that have been flaunting its 'red cross' emblem on their premises and vehicles to stop it immediately.

"All Red Cross services, including relief, rescue and medical services, are always provided free of charge, while many hospitals in the country, especially private ones demand fees from patients while their usage of red cross is extremely misleading," stated Ms Stella Marealle, the society's Information and Dissemination Manager, here at the weekend.
