Angola: Govt Reduces Interest Rates for Beneficiaries of Agricultural Loan

Luanda — The Angolan Government has reduced recently from five to two percent the interest rate of the beneficiaries of the Agricultural Credit Campaign, said Friday in Luanda, the minister of Economy Abraham Gourgel.

The Cabinet minister who was speaking at the opening of the Fourth National Forum on Micro Finance said these measures aim at promoting the creation of mechanisms and funding instruments to agricultural credit to ensure their attractiveness for beneficiaries and for banks and is addressed to all value chain stages.
