Nigeria: Igbo Cultural Day to Hold in Oyo in December

Ibadan — Acting President of the Igbo General Assembly in Oyo State, Eze Emeka Enweronye, has said the Igbo Cultural Day holding later this month is a day set aside to promote, develop and advance Igbo language and culture.

He said this at a sensitisation media chat in Ibadan on the planned cultural day and maintained that it would be held in a rancour-free atmosphere, as the group would not do anything to rupture the peace and tranquility being presently enjoyed in the state.
