Tanzania: Extramarital Affairs Increasing in Moshi

Moshi — A 16 days activism campaign against Gender Based Violence (GBV) has started with a shocking revelation that prostitution is thriving in Moshi Municipality, with more than half of married couples engaging in extramarital relationships.

Speaking at the inauguration of the campaign that is nationally organized by Women in Law and Development in Africa (Wildaf), an activist, Ms Agnatha Rutazaa said a random research carried out on prostitution shows that 50.7 person are engaged in extramarital relations.
