Algeria: President Bouteflika Underlines Algeria's "Consistent" position in Favour of Palestinian People

Algiers — President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika underlined Algeria's "consistent" position in favour of the Palestinian people and its legitimate rights notably "the right to establish an independent and sovereign State within 4 June 1967 frontiers with al-Quds as capital."

In a letter sent to the UN Committee for the exercise of the Palestinian people's inalienable rights, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, President Bouteflika wished that "this annual mobilization will be used to raise the awareness of the international public opinion concerning this cause and remind the international community, including the UN about to its historical responsibility to bring justice to this people and all the peoples which are still under the colonial yoke."
