Nouakchott — A new push is under way for Sahel countries to jointly combat drugs and terrorism.
Diplomats, military officials and other representatives from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Mali, Niger, Senegal, France, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Mauritania met last week in Nouakchott to discuss ways to strengthen co-operation in the fight against transnational crime.
