Kenyan authorities on Thursday (November 27th) announced the re-opening of four Mombasa mosques accused of having links to al-Shabaab that had been closed last week following police raids, AFP reported.
Police said they recovered a number of weapons, grenades, recruitment materials and a flag associated with al-Shabaab, and arrested dozens of suspected al-Shabaab supporters, during raids on the Shuhada, Mujahideen, Swafaa and Minaa mosques.
