Nigeria: FCT Police Asks Protesters to Respect Rights of Others

Abuja/Port Harcourt — NIGERIANS wishing to ventilate their grievances in form of protest should do so peacefully and with due regard to the rule of law and respect for the rights of other citizens, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Commissioner, Mr. Wilson Inalegwu, has said.

The caution came Thursday in Abuja following Wednesday's protest by a group of aggrieved members of the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Wadata Plaza national headquarters of the party.
