The people of the border village of Dimbaya in the West Coast Region are going to congress tomorrow, Saturday, to elect a new committee that will steer the affairs of the village's development, particularly the maiden marathon and wrestling competition slated for 26th and 27th December, 2014.
To be spearheaded by the village youth and sports committee, the sporting events will be preceded with an Islamic Conference which according to the village head, Burama Colley will serve as the opening of the wrestling and marathon championships. The theme for the first edition is "Patriotic Citizenship."
