Liberia: Election or No Election

Arguments into a petition for a writ of prohibition will be entertained today by the Supreme Court of Liberia as the nation awaits a judgment that would determine the way forward.

A stay order imposed by the constitutional court has brought campaigning and political activities to a halt. All the parties concerned have been duly informed by the Justice-in-Chambers, His Honor Philip A.Z. Banks, about today's case which draws the attention of the entire country, including Liberia's international partners.
