Tanzania: Public Cautioned Against Pressuring JK Over Ministers

AMID pressure from some quarters for President Jakaya Kikwete to take immediate action against ministers implicated in the Escrow account scandal, analysts have appealed for calm and allow the head of state room to decide on the matter.

"He is the appointing authority. He should be left alone to make whatever decision he deems correct," noted a senior University of Dar es Salaam lecturer in the city on Saturday.
