President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has thanked local officials and healthcare workers who have kept the various clinics and hospitals opened in other parts of the country, especially during the height of the Ebola outbreak.
The Liberian leader said as the country transitions from treatment to prevention, Government will work with partners to establish community care centers and ensure the provision of regular healthcare service throughout the country. She promised to personally ensure that the concerns of the healthcare workers are addressed by authorities of the Ministry of Health on her return to Monrovia.
