Nigeria: No Weapon Found in Impounded Antonov Aircraft - NAF, France

The controversial French-owned Antonov aircraft, which was impounded on Saturday at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano Nigeria enroute to N'Jdamena, Chad was released yesterday at the instance of the Presidency.

The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshall Adesola Amosu, who announced this yesterday at NAF Headquarters, Abuja, during a joint press conference with the French Defence Attache (DA) to Nigeria, Col. Marc Humbert said the federal government is satisfied with the outcome of the investigations.
