Arusha — Red hot EALA beat the Burundi National Assembly 4-2 in an entertaining football match played at the Sheikh Abeid Amri Memorial Stadium this afternoon.
EALA who lost 0-2 to defending champions, Parliament of Uganda yesterday, were a vastly improved side running round the Burundi goal in the first half. Striker John Kibwana opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a rasping shot that beat Burundi's keeper Ibrahim Uwizeye. The same player notched in two quick goals in the 14th and the 21st minute before Burundi could settle.
