Angola: Cuanza Norte Province Governor Defends Greater Expansion of BPC Bank

Samba Cajú — The governor of the northern Cuanza Norte Province, Henrique André Júnior, advocated last Wednesday, in Samba-Cajú Municipality, the need for the reinforcement of the actions of the state-owned BPC bank towards the expansion of its services to the municipalities of the interior of the province.

Henrique Júnior was speaking at the opening ceremony of the first BPC branch in Samba-Cajú, stressing that there is some urgency in the expansion of the BPC in the province, since there is lack of banking services in some municipalities of the interior, which has been causing great absenteeism from work by public servants, because they normally travel long distances for withdrawal of their salary moneys.
