Namibia: Four to Plead On Chinese Kidnapping Charges

FOUR men accused of kidnapping and robbing a Chinese citizen and trying to extort about N$2 million from their victim in Windhoek nearly a year ago are due to give their pleas on the charges they are facing when they make their next court appearance in February.

The four alleged kidnappers and extortionists were back in the dock in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, but with the defence lawyer of two of the accused not present their case was postponed to 20 February.
