Kenya: Turkana Road Blockage, Protests Enter Fourth Day

Turkana Governor Joseph Nanok on Sunday met with elders from the Turkana and Pokot communities in an attempt to end a blockade on Kainuk that entered its fourth day Monday (December 15th), Kenya's The Star reported.

Protesters blocked the Lodwar-Kitale road with logs after bandits killed three people in Kainuk on Friday and injured two others, including a Kenyan police reservist, according to area chief Aenaye Apangule.
