Sierra Leone: Accused Remanded for Le45 Million Coltan Fraud

John Musa Koroma was yesterday remanded at the Male Correctional Centre on Pademba Road for allegedly defrauding one Papa Kamara the sum of Le45 million for the purpose of buying 1,500 kilograms of Coltan.

The accused was arraigned at the Freetown Magistrates' Court No.2 presided over by Magistrate Komba Kamanda on two counts of fraudulent conversion, contrary to section 20(20)(iv)(b) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
