Gambia: Five Million Bail Bond for Sait Matty Jaw, Two Others

Magistrate Samsideen Conteh of the Banjul Magistrates' Court, on Tuesday granted bail to Sait Matty Jaw, a history lecturer at the University of The Gambia and two others namely; Seth Yaw Kandeh, a Ghanaian and Olu Femi Erinle Titus, a Nigerian national respectively in the sum of five million dalasis with two Gambian sureties each.

The sureties must have a property within The Greater Banjul Area in the above recognition of the said amount and to report to the Banjul Police headquarters every Monday and Friday. This came after their defence team led by Lawyer Ida Drammeh made an earlier application for bail.
