As the nation celebrates the 22nd anniversary of the Unity Accord signed between President Mugabe and the late Vice President Dr Joshua Nkomo in 1987, Zanu-PF yesterday said pretenders and those who fanned factionalism have no place in the revolutionary party.The Unity Day celebrations are an annual event commemorated on December 22.
In a statement issued ahead of next week's celebrations, Zanu-PF spokesperson Cde Simon Khaya Moyo said the revolutionary party had only one centre of power in President Mugabe, who was recently endorsed as the party's First Secretary and sole candidate for 2018 elections.
