Nigeria: Clergy Applaud Buhari's Choice of Osinbajo

Kaduna — The Pastors' Council of Northern Nigeria has applauded the choice of Professor Yemi Osinbajo as running-mate to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, retired General Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as a wise decision.

Addressing newsmen in Kaduna yesterday, the convener of the council, Pastor Bulus Yahaya, said Osinbajo possesses the qualities needed in a leader, adding that the party's choice heralds the hope for a new Nigeria in view of his experience in public and private sectors as well as his pastoral experience.
