Gambia: Ex-SG Bah Continues Testimony

The jailed former secretary general, head of Civil Service and minister of Presidential Affairs Dr Njogou L Bah on Wednesday continued his evidence-in-chief in the ongoing criminal trial involving him and the state at the Banjul Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Dawada A. Jallow.

When the case was called before the witness continued his testimony, his defence counsel LK. Mboge, told the court that he has served a notice to the state (prosecution) to serve him the statement of Mariama Ndure Njie, the permanent secretary II at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the purpose of tendering it as a defence evidence, as he said he personally served the state counsel A. Bah on Tuesday's sitting at the said court premises.
