Nigeria: Okorocha Declares 18-Day Holidays for Imo Workers

IN order to enable workers celebrate Christmas and New Year festivities, the Imo state governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has declared public holidays for workers in the employ of the state government from December 19 through January 5, 2015.

Okorocha who announced this in a special broadcast on Friday morning, wished workers and Imo people fruitful celebrations, adding that they should celebrate with moderation the birth of Jesus Christ and New Year.
