The digging rate after 132 days of work at the new Suez Canal Project reached 156 million cubic meters on Thursday, said Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces' Engineering department Major General Kamel el-Wazir.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday18/12/2014, el-Wazir said that the number of workers at the site of the new project hits 22,000 engineers, technicians and drivers.
