Zimbabwe: Seven More Ministers Fired

22 December 2014

PRESIDENT Mugabe has fired seven more ministers from Government for conduct and performance below the expected standard, bringing to 16 the number of ministers who have been sent packing as Government gears up for the accelerated implementation of Zim-Asset in the post-congress period. Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda yesterday said the President had relieved two ministers and five deputy ministers of their duties in terms of Section 108 (1) (a) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 20) Act 2013.
