Nigeria: There Was No Election in Lagos CAN - Adegbite

Contrary to the belief and expectation of numerous Christians, the outcome of the recently conducted election by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State branch, was protested by the leadership of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) and Roman Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria.

While reacting to the election result, the leadership of the Christian groups declared that they totally disagreed with the election, which was conducted among only the three groups constituting Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), ECWA/TEKAN and Organisation of African Churches, thus leaving the above two Christian bodies.
