PREMIUM TIMES brings to you an exclusive interview with former Nigerian sprinter, Deji Aliu, who remains one of the few athletes that has run the 100 metres race in less than 10 seconds. Aliu, who is now a coach, spoke with Tunde Eludini in Lagos where he went down memory lane to relive his boisterous career on the track and also state his regret of not finishing as an Olympic champion. He said he could have, if he had put a little more effort .. Below are excerpts from the interview.
