Nigeria: Derivation Oil States Shared N4.2 Trillion in 15 Years

The nine oil-producing states earned a total of N4.19 trillion as derivation in the last 15 years, analysis of official records by Daily Trust has shown.

Six of the states - Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River and Edo - belong to the oil rich Niger Delta or South South region of the country.
