Nigeria: Use Campaign Funds to Fight Terrorism - Rights Group

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has urged relevant authorities to divert funds raised by the various political parties for the 2015 election campaigns to the fight against terrorism in the country.

HURIWA says the funds can be put into better use if diverted to the defence sector for better equipment of combatants in the frontlines of the counter-terrorism battle in the North East.
