Nigeria: Ekweremadu Advocates National Day of Prayers

Enugu — Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has advocated for a national day of prayers in Nigeria, saying it would make the country progressive like the United States of America.

Speaking at the annual thanksgiving service organised by his local council, Aninri Local Government Area on Sunday, Ekweremadu stressed the need for Nigeria to dedicate a day annually for thanksgiving and prayers for peace and prosperity.
