Scarce or inadequate information, insufficient audits and poor financial reporting standards for public entities like the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) continued to undermine industry processes in Nigeria, a new report has found.
The findings of the 2014 benchmarking exercise were released recently in a new report, showing that the Nigeria Natural Resource Charter (NNRC) has partnered with the Lagos-based think tank, the Centre for Public Policy Alternatives (CPPA), which carried out the assessment under the guidance of an NNRC expert panel.
